 Pictures of Phi Phi can be found on tourist web sites throughout Thailand as the vistas of the islands compare with any of the best tropical scenes in the world. Similarly brochures for hotels and tours in Phuket, Krabi and Koh Lanta, show scenes from Maya Bay, Phi Phi Ley as well as Phi Phi View Point as the proprietors wish to lend kudos to their resorts and trips to the islands. Even the Thai Embassies and Tourist Authority of Thailand use the exotic views as a trade mark for the beauty to be found in the Kingdom.
Hollywood super star Leonardo DiCaprio shot the movie "The Beach" in the world famous Maya Bay in the year 2000 and put Phi Phi Island firmly on the map as one of the worlds most beautiful island Vacation destinations. The dramatic cliff scenery of Maya Bay gave the impression of an isolated lagoon surrounded by the mountains of Thailand, the lost paradise of the backpackers dreams.
The island is far from discovered after you have left Maya Bay as trips to the Phi Phi Don cliffs bring the surprise bays of Wang Long and Monkey beach. Further north you find Camel Rock and pretty little Nui Bay. Mosquito Island is the remote little brother of the limestone caste island gems and the PP National Park of Bamboo island is the perfect coral surrounded tropical island of our memories.
Diving and Snorkeling images off the reefs
 The shots of the shallow reefs of Phi Phi Ley and Phi Phi Don allow for better sun light penetration and with that greater colour variety. The chances of seeing the larger of pelagic fish such as the whale shark, black tip shark and manta make the islands an underwater paradise.
