The guesthouse is on a popular backpacking street at the start of the Viewpoint walk up the concrete steps. It is surrounded by small local shops and bakeries where you can take a bite and watch the world go by. There is a steady stream of people going up to viewpoint at sunrise and sunset.

Dining is mainly confined to what you find in the village though many will bring in food and eat from the tables in the communal areas. The food on site varies according to who or if there is a cook on the premises. It's pretty easy going.
