Phi Phi Bamboo Island

Located just northeast of Phi Phi Don, Bamboo Island is a flat beautiful island with blending white sand and very clear water.
Take your snorkeling gear with you because on the way to Bamboo is a beautiful coral garden called Hin Klang. There is also a nice coral reef near the beach.
When you stay at Phi Phi Don don't forget to visit this scenic island that is never crowded, unlike Maya Bay Beach, but just as beautiful and memorable.

The beaches of Bamboo Island Photo Phi Phi Island

This Photo on Phi Phi Island shows The beaches of Bamboo Island National Park. Dazzling white sand next aquamarine blue seas make this one of the best beaches on Phi Phi Island and a regular stop off for the One Day Tour of Phi Phi island.

Most people just hang on the beaches but a short swim over the rippled sand gets you to one of Phi Phi’s perfect coral reefs where you can see the full gamut and array of marine life.

The Bamboo Island beach is very bright. Bring sun glasses…!

Corals off Bamboo Island near Phi Phi

The Corals off Bamboo island National Park are some of the finest on the Phi Phi islands. The hard coral develop slowly all year and some undisturbed coral can reach 5 meters high after hundreds of years.

Although the tsunami did break up a couple of selected shallow water reefs in 2004, nature is quick to rebuild and with mother nature being given a helping hand by Andrew Hewitt of the Adventure Club, a process of re seeding the reef has greatly speeded up the rejuvenation of the damage.

Mother nature is very fast and any exposed rock or broken coral is quickly colonized by new coral spores. The damage to the Phi Ph Islands reefs is actually hard to spot unless you have a trained eye.

Loh Bagao from Bamboo Island

Loh Bagao is the name of the beach on Phi Phi Don Island where the Phi Phi Island Village Resort and Spa is located.

Scene from Bamboo National Park Island, Phi Phi Island Village Resort and Spa appears to be a lone of coconut trees with a line of gold at their bottom where the sand beach lies.

Nestled amongst those coconut trees are a series of exclusive bungalows set in a pristine environment.

It is about 15mintues by longtail boat from Bamboo National Park Island to Phi Phi Island Village Resort and Spa.
