The aftermath of the December 26th 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami is still showing in these pictures. The human toll was incredible on Phi Phi Island as 3 waves struck the island from the Loh Dalum Bay after a surge of water had swept in from the south. Many tourists and local people perished alike as they had no warning and no idea which way to run where to hide.
