Go back to the home page of the Koh Phi Phi Weather and Hotels Blog Thursday, June 5, 2008 Choppy sea but finally sun on Phi Phi!
After a little bit of a choppy ferry ride we reached Phi Phi; we worried a little bit about the weather in June -- it being the 'Green Season' -- but in the end everything worked out totally fine. Great views, sun and even the towering clouds over the sea gave it some atmosphere you else might only catch on a postcard.
In the evening we finally had a nice clear sky, the right moment for a romantic dinner. One can bet that Phi Phi will be much more often on my holiday schedule.

Comments:
I went to Phi Phi Island last week and the weather was good for all but one day. We had a huge down pour on the last day and there were waves on the boat to Krabi, but no sweat.
Most of the time we went diving and the seas were brilliant under the cliffs at Phi Phi ley. The beaches had a a bit of seaweed on them and the wind blew up in the afternoon. The local divers said it was always like that at high tide this month.
Phi Phi Weather has improved this last few days with my friend reporting ...The weather is not good because always raining all day long... cool Thai English. But then said it improved for 3 days with sun all day.
weather fine today in Phi Phi Village. hopefully get out to see a perfect sunset over in Wang Long in a few minutes ;)
