Locating Laem Tong on Phi Phi Island

Although the island of Phi Phi Don is known as the main Phi Phi Island, the area of Laem Tong is fairly quiet and remote. This quality is granted because it is located along the northern edge of the island. This is a rather remote location.

There are 4 resorts in prime location on Laem Tong Phi Phi Island: Phi Phi Natural Resort, Zeayola Resort, Phi Phi Holiday Resort, and PP Erawan Resort. Each resort is located on the eastern beach of the peninsula. This allows the gentle northern breezes to cool down tourists in the hot summer, but protects tourists from the violent summer winds from the west.

Dining In Laem Tong Phi Phi Island

Food and dining is exquisite in Laem Tong. You can enjoy the foods of the various resorts such as the Sawadee at the PP Erawan Resort, or at Chaba Seafood in the Phi Phi Holiday. You can also enjoy fine dining at the most sought after restaurant in the area: Zeayola Restaurant. However, if you simply want to experience quality cuisine enjoyed by the locals, head over to the Sea Gypsy Village where you can eat at the Jasmine. The Jasmine is known for it's superbly spicy entrees.

Spectacular Walks on Laem Tong Phi Phi Island

No bikes or cars are allowed on Laem Tong. This is why there are so many great opportunities to walk and enjoy the breathtaking views of Phi Phi Island. You can walk along a 500m sandy beach which takes about 30 minutes to travel one way. One of the greatest places to view a sunset on Phi Phi Island is by walking from the east coast to the west coast and ending at Chong Ku. This is where you can see the sunset as a backdrop to the Phuket Island hills which is only 45km from Chong Ku.

Laem Tong on Phi Phi island is the definition of paradise. There are sandy beaches, breathtaking views, majestic walks, and times of peaceful serenity. Any trip to Phi Phi Island would not be complete without a stop in Laem Tong.
